This is a great little spot for a variety of Asian dishes (mostly Japanese) made to order. Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately greeted by a sweet lady who took my order and offered to make my Kimchi Ramen extra spicy (which I said yes to, of course!). It was about a 10 minute wait to get my food, which I learned is all made-to-order, including the Onigiri. The prices were reasonable and the food was delicious, with the ramen being super savory and spicy and the Ikura Onigiri salty and flavorful. I'm looking forward to trying a few more dishes including the Takoyaki, Tuna Onigiri, and Chicken Katsu.

If there was a 6 star rating for this place i would give it to them. I've known about this place for a little more than a year and they are the best every time. They have the best customer service and will always greet you with the warmest welcome. The food is amazing and they even sometimes make food that is not on the menu such as katsudon. Highly recommend this to anyone!!! Wish nothing but the best for their business. Wrote this review and forgot to publish it but STILL THE BEST!!

This place was amazing! I will definitely be coming back! It is located in a tiny shopping center on a street behind US1. There is parking in the front that is a little tricky but additional parking in the back as well. They have many vegetarian options, but today I was in the mood for onigiri. They have a plum option and a seaweed option. I tried both of them, and they were both SO good! My favorite thing I ordered was the curry croquette. It was made fresh, and it was crispy and delicious. The sauce was great! The tofu with scallions was super soft and a good addition as well. The price also felt reasonable for the amount of food that we ordered to-go. The woman behind the counter was so friendly and sweet. She gave good suggestions as well as to what to order. There isn't any indoor seating, but there is some outdoor. Since it was the middle of the day and all the seating was in the sun, we took the food back to our place, but it was all still warm and delicious when we sat down to eat!

Went to Brandsmart near dadeland mall and came over here for some onigiri. I got the cha-shu, tatsuta-age, salmon onigiri. Also got their kimchi miso soup and takoyaki. In terms of onigiri I like the cha-shu the most! The cha-shu was very flavorful and not that fatty! Tatsuta-age probably next? Chicken was soft and it was kind of saucy but not really 100% to my taste. Tbh was hoping for a crunch since fried chicken but the sauce made the chicken soft. Salmon one was ok, was like just salt and cooked salmon. Will try the other onigiri but would skip buying the salmon and tatsuta-age ones. Kimchi miso soup was very flavorful. I added more water to my soup and it was still very flavorful! Would get this one again. They put a lot of kimchi inside. Was a very flavorful companion to wash down some of the rice from the onigiri. Takoyaki was pretty good but tbh I don't remember much about it. Might get them again though. No seating inside. Only outdoor seating. It's a very small place. The lady at the cash register was really nice. I saw her talking with one of their regulars that she hasn't seen in a while. Was really cute!

I love this place! my sister and I come regularly for the salmon onigiri, we also love their pork ramen. great food here, definitely recommend.

Nobody that i know of has rice balls to go like this place. (Onigiris) and the service is extremely nice! The FOOD WAS AMAZING. The onigirs were the bomb! My friend also got i believw a pho and he enjoyed it. Just make sure you keep the containers of liquid straight because they will spill in your bag!

Picked up a delicious dinner for two! We ordered: Fried oysters Chicken katsu Onigiri chasu (pork) Onigiri unagi (eel) Pork belly with white rice & an egg Everything was fantastic! I had to add my pictures separately because Yelp only allows 10 photos per review now.

Only took a picture of the onigiri because it was so cute - or else I would've scarfed it down like the rest of the food we tried! We meant to have leftovers but everything was so good we ate it all. In addition to the different onigiris, my boyfriend and I ordered karaage and a pork katsu curry. OMG. So yummy. The onigiris had so much filling and were so flavorful. The service was great as well! 100% going back to this place to try everything on the menu.

Stopped by Cafe Oriental for a quick lunch in between furniture shopping in the area, and it cured my hanger and enabled me to go on. Everything was made fresh, including the onigiri and karaage. I love that you could choose soba to be served hot or cold-- I chose cold dipping soba with tempura since it was a hot day. Service was fast and friendly, and there are picnic tables outside to eat at. Go visit!

In case it's not clear from other reviews and photos, this place is very small. The inside only has an ordering counter and no seating. Outside, there are a few tables shared with a few other neighboring restaurants, where you can eat your take out. I had wanted to try their ramen, but decided that it's not the set up for it, so I opted for the onigiri, which I always had fond memories of when it sustained me on a student budget in Japan, and takoyaki. The onigiri comes in a neat package (you can get these prewrapped seaweeds at Kimchi and other Asian stores) that allows you tear off the plastic and have the seaweed wrapped around the rice almost magically. The flavor was okay, fit the bill of filling me up. The takoyaki is pretty good, it came out piping hot. As I ate at the table, I had to battle with the wind to keep the plastic boxes and napkins from flying away. I probably would have enjoyed the food more under better circumstances. I can see this place being a good option for take outs for people in the neighborhood, but sadly not for me.
